Spotify Dimensions
You’re on the subway in your own dimension of music. Listening to your favorite artist perform in the studio, and you can watch them sing your favorite songs or close your eyes and imagine sitting in the room with them, hearing their voice all around you. You open your eyes and notice someone sitting across from you with their headphones on. You notice the pattern and color on the side of their headphones match yours. You feel connected. Maybe you both love the same song, both listen to the same genres, like the same art, food, or clothes. For a moment you feel connected, no matter where you are who you are.
The Problem
For Listeners:
Due to COVID-19 the need to connect has increased exponentially. “As we’ve been forced to practice social distancing during the past two months, people have realized how much they crave human connection” (Forbes, 2020).
For Spotify:
Spotify has been struggling to establish a strong relationship with their artists. Through these headphones we will also provide Spotify an opportunity to offer artists a new way to connect with their audience having the limitations that COVID-19 life has imposed on artists performances.
The Product
Spotify Dimensions are a new set of headphones with unique features. With these headphones, users will be able to access dimensions: Friends, Live, and Studio.

Gyroscope sensor to send feedback to spatial audio tech for better UX (dynamic head tracking)
Touch screen:
Trackpad-like instead of buttons
Voice recognition option
Audio visualization display on sides (song-specific)
Outer edge LED lights (dimension-specific)
The Package:
Inside the package consumers will find a unique audio print that’ll allow them to synchronize their headphones with their Spotify account & unlock new dimensions. (first time set-up only)
