Little With Great Love

Social Media Manager

A not-for-profit organization that runs blogs, podcasts, videos and a small shop.

My Job

I have been Social Media manager since the start of this organization. I have set up a posting schedule, manage team members, create content, design graphics, write captions and blogs, and design merchandise.

The Stats

Since being with the organization from day one, I have been able to create and evaluate how to grow a business based on social media. The top channels of which the site is found is 25% from social media and 60% from organic search. Given the target audience (35-45), the majority of the social traffic comes from Facebook with Pinterest second, and Instagram third.

7 Things Nobody Told You About Your 20s

People are always changing. Some people change drastically, some barely change, and some resist change. I can tell those of you who resist change that I am definitely not the same person I was in high school, and I bet you aren’t either.

When deciding where to go to college, I looked everywhere, from in-state to out-of-state, and had no idea where I wanted to be. I thought I would study theater at a big university, but I ended up at a small private university studying English and Religious Studies.

Workaholic’s Guide to Taking a Break & Vacation

In America, working is everything. When you meet someone new, one of the first questions asked is, “what do you do?” It’s then funny that as we work, we’re always looking forward to our next break or vacation. We often fantasize about wanting a big adventure or relaxing getaway.

However, according to USA Today, the United States is the only developed country in the world without a single legally required paid vacation day or holiday. By law, every country in the European Union has at least four work weeks of paid vacation.

The Importance of Organization & Planning

This blog post is a result of organization and planning. Because if I didn’t plan out my week, this writing and message to you would cease to exist.

As I’m getting older and adulting a lot more, some of my interests have changed. Now, I find myself thoroughly enjoying long YouTube videos of people cleaning their homes, renovating their bedrooms, or sharing how they organize their week (and I may or may not be watching some of these right now.)
